Job summary

UTC Leeds is seeking a Senior Inclusion Support Worker to work with the SENCO, teachers, and support staff to drive inclusive practice for our students at Leeds campus. You will deliver literacy interventions and support 1:1 and small groups to help pupils catch up in reading, writing and phonics.

The role offers training and CPD, with a focus on developing literacy skills and an inclusive learning environment within a supportive Trust.

Qualifications

• Deliver reading, writing and numeracy interventions.
• Support SENCO in coordinating SEN plans and intervention delivery.
• Teach small groups and provide 1:1 support to catch up on literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions and academic lessons to small groups and 1:1 for literacy catch-up.
• Support curriculum delivery and SEN plan implementation under guidance from SENCO and English department.
• Attend CPD and contribute to a growing Trust’s staff wellbeing and career progression.
