Job summary

Education Learning Trust’s Werneth School is seeking a committed HLTA to support reading and literacy for pupils aged 11–16, across mainstream lessons and targeted interventions.

You will deliver small-group and one-to-one support, contribute to assessment and review processes, and work with teachers, families and the SEND team to remove barriers to learning.

ELT offers a supportive community, personalised induction, and professional development, with safeguarding at the core.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in developing reading and literacy skills.
• Ability to support high-quality teaching and learning for students aged 11–16 with additional needs.
