Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a Clinical Imaging Manager to lead Radiology across the region. The role delivers senior leadership, operational management and financial stewardship for a £6.5 million budget across DGRI and Galloway Community Hospital sites.

You will drive service development, digital imaging innovations, RIS/PACS, and compliance with IR(ME)R and national standards, working with clinical and corporate colleagues to provide safe, effective imaging for patients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography with HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate study in healthcare management or leadership development.
• Experience budgeting and managing imaging services across multiple sites.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible professional leadership and operational management across Radiology.
• Lead workforce planning, financial management and service development.
• Drive digital imaging initiatives, AI-enabled solutions and innovation.
