Job summary

National Wealth Fund in Leeds offers a hybrid role for a Senior Manager, Accounting Advisory to lead the technical accounting function and advise on complex transactions. You will ensure IFRS, Companies Act and ONS compliance, supporting senior management and deal teams.

The position involves overseeing accounting papers, policies and governance submissions, managing audit relationships, and driving improvements in financial reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with post-qualification experience in technical accounting and IFRS.
• Experience interpreting complex accounting standards in financial services.
• Proven ability to lead a technical accounting function and advise senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting framework and ensure IFRS/ONS compliance.
• Oversee accounting papers, policies and governance submissions.
• Manage relationships with NAO and external advisers.
• Lead audits coordination and provide accounting judgments.
