Job summary

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to join Scarborough Hospital’s newly opened ICU. The post supports daytime work and an on-call rota for a 10-bed unit, with cross-site collaboration with York and a wider Critical Care team.

Applicants must be on the specialist register for Intensive Care Medicine or be within 6 months of completing training.

Qualifications

• On the specialist register for Intensive Care Medicine, or within 6 months of completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine.
• Provide daytime and on-call ICU cover for Scarborough Hospital's 10-bed unit.
• Work within the cross-site Critical Care team with York colleagues.
