Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to lead passive infrastructure design for multiple client projects. You will create AutoCAD designs, write technical documents, and coordinate with contractors and internal teams.

The role requires experience in ICT and building services, with potential for travel and security clearance. Mentoring of junior staff and bid support are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Pursuit of CEng status or attainment is desirable.
• Knowledge of copper and fibre infrastructure systems and standards.
• Experience in data centre design and related standards.
• Experience in building services such as access control, CCTV, HVAC, fire detection/suppression.

Responsibilities

• Design passive ICT systems and building systems; produce AutoCAD designs and technical specs.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and other engineering disciplines.
• Lead a package of work and mentor junior staff.
• Direct and develop technicians/engineers on client design standards.
• Support bid work and ITT responses; aid capability development.
