Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking an ICT Network Engineer to design, deliver and support active network solutions across LAN, WAN and WLAN environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist with testing, migrations and commissioning, and produce detailed technical documentation for projects.

The role involves occasional UK travel, engagement with clients and partners, and potential eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience of ICT network design and delivery.
• Knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and network security principles.
• Understanding of network monitoring and management systems.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports and presentations.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Desirable: Cisco, Juniper, Aruba certifications.

Responsibilities

• Developing active network designs, schematics, technical documentation and specifications.
• Supporting the design and delivery of enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN solutions.
• Assisting with implementation, migration, testing and commissioning activities.
• Producing technical reports, design documentation and installation specifications.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering disciplines.
• Supporting project delivery activities across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Assisting with business development activities including PQQ and ITT responses.
