Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior ICT Network Engineer to lead network design, develop secure, scalable infrastructures and mentor engineers. You will drive technical work packages and contribute to bids and business development, ensuring delivery from design through testing and commissioning.

The role involves travel to UK locations, potential overseas work, and security clearance processes. Strong leadership and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical work packages and design activities.
• Experience of ICT network design and delivery.
• Knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and network security principles.
• Understanding of network monitoring and management systems.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports and presentations.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development of active network designs, architectures and design documentation.
• Designing enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN and network security solutions.
• Developing secure, resilient and scalable network infrastructures.
• Leading technical work packages and supporting project delivery activities.
• Producing and reviewing technical documentation, reports, strategies and specifications.
• Supporting implementation planning, migration activities, testing and commissioning.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and support to engineers and technicians.
• Supporting business development activities including proposals, PQQs and ITTs.
