Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior ICT Network Engineer in Bristol, UK, reporting to the ICT Active Networks Lead. You will guide the design lifecycle from bids through implementation and commissioning, and mentor engineers along the way.

You will develop enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN and security solutions, craft technical documentation, and lead work packages to deliver secure, scalable networks tailored to client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical work packages and design activities.
• Experience of ICT network design and delivery.
• Knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and network security principles.
• Understanding of network monitoring and management systems.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports and presentations.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development of active network designs, architectures, technical specifications and design documentation.
• Designing enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN and network security solutions.
• Developing secure, resilient and scalable network infrastructures aligned to client requirements.
• Leading technical work packages and supporting project delivery activities.
• Producing and reviewing technical documentation, reports, strategies and specifications.
• Supporting implementation planning, migration activities, testing and commissioning.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and support to engineers and technicians.
• Supporting business development activities including proposals, PQQs and ITTs.
