Job summary

Thames Water are recruiting an ICA Technician to maintain plant equipment at sewage pumping stations around Rickmansworth. You will diagnose faults, repair and modify installations, and work on PLCs, SCADA and telemetry systems with minimal supervision.

The role is based at Maple Lodge, with a 38‑hour Monday–Friday pattern, standby and overtime opportunities that can boost earnings. PPE, tools, van and fuel card are provided, and a strong team culture supports growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong practical understanding of operational plant and control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, and telemetry systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and some reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Install, modify and commission new plant equipment to standards and diagnose faults.
• Provide specialist technical advice with up-to-date knowledge.
