Job summary

HelloKindred is seeking a Senior DevOps / Automation Engineer (IBM Z & Hybrid Platform) to lead automation and DevOps modernisation across IBM Z and distributed platforms in a fully remote role.

You will design production-grade automation, CI/CD pipelines, and governance, mentor engineers, and help ensure secure, auditable, scalable solutions across a global enterprise environment. The contract is 6 months and remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years DevOps engineering experience.
• At least 2 years IBM Z environment.
• Hands-on with GitHub, Jenkins, AAP, Nexus.
• Strong Python and YAML development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and design reviews.
• Design and develop production-grade automation with Python and YAML.
• Develop enterprise automation workflows across IBM Z and distributed platforms.
• Implement secure CI/CD pipelines and governance.
