Job summary

Allstate NI is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer to design, configure, implement, and support enterprise IAM solutions across the organization. You will lead with strong hands-on experience in web access management and IAM platforms, collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver secure, scalable access controls.

The role requires mentoring, technical design, and deep knowledge of SSO, federation, and IAM standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK for Allstate employment.
• A minimum of 3 years implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting enterprise IAM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with one or more web access management or IAM platforms (IVIA, IV Access, ISAM, PAIC, PingFederate/Access, PingAM) or equivalents.
• Experience implementing SSO, federation, and access management for enterprise apps.
• Experience writing automation scripts for integration mapping.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and federation concepts.
• Desirable: IAM cloud/SaaS integrations, PAM/IGA, MFA, API security.
• Relevant identity/security cloud certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide design, configuration, enhancement, and support of IAM solutions with a focus on vendor platforms.
• Develop designs addressing complex business requirements, access needs, and security objectives.
• Configure and maintain IAM platforms for authentication, SSO, federation, and access control.
• Partner with stakeholders, security, infra, app owners, and vendors to deliver secure access management.
• Contribute to product planning with user stories and mentoring.
• Lead feature reviews, document decisions, and ensure alignment across teams.
• Create functional designs addressing business processes and integration needs.
• Support testing of features and product stories.
• Manage issues, blockers, defects, and risks for features.
• Review vendor release features and assess impact on platform capabilities.
• Use vendor docs and support to troubleshoot and guide product direction.
• Evaluate vendor roadmaps and suggest enhancements.
• Provide knowledge sharing and training to strengthen the team.
• Develop and maintain technical and process documentation.
