Job summary

Allstate NI seeks a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to lead and enhance enterprise IAM platforms across the organization. You will design, configure, implement, and support secure access management solutions while partnering with business and technology teams to deliver scalable authentication and authorization capabilities.

The role involves guiding product planning, coaching team members, and reviewing vendor features to improve platform reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise web access management or IAM platforms (ISAM, IBM Verify Access, PAIC, PingFederate, PingAccess, Okta, ForgeRock, etc.).
• Experience implementing and supporting SSO, federation, and access management for enterprise applications.
• Experience writing automation scripts (JavaScript, Python, Groovy, YAML or PowerShell).
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and federation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide the design, configuration, enhancement, and support of enterprise IAM solutions, focusing on vended platforms.
• Develop technical and functional designs addressing complex business requirements and security objectives.
• Configure and maintain IAM platforms supporting authentication, authorization, SSO, federation, and access control.
• Partner with stakeholders, security and infrastructure teams, application owners, and vendors to deliver secure access management solutions.
• Create, refine, and guide user stories for complex features; coach team members learning the platform or process.
• Facilitate feature reviews for complex issues; document key decisions and align across teams.
• Develop functional designs with moderate technical skills for integration needs.
• Plan, execute, and review module, integration, and system testing for features and stories.
• Manage issues, blockers, defects, and risks through resolution for features and stories.
• Review vendor releases, assess impact, and identify opportunities to improve platform capability.
