Job summary

IFS seeks a Senior Director of Identity & Access Management to own the IAM strategy for the platform ecosystem, including AuthN/AuthZ, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect platforms, and tenant lifecycle. You will lead two engineering managers and collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Cloud Operations to keep IAM ahead of platform needs.

You will champion security and compliance from design through operation, ensuring high availability and a seamless customer experience across Nexus,

Qualifications

Deep domain expertise in identity and access management (authentication and authorization).
Proven experience leading platform engineering teams across multiple time zones.
Experience building and operating SaaS or cloud platforms at enterprise scale.
Background in security architecture with threat modeling and secure design principles.
Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

Set the strategic direction for IAM across Nexus, Kairos, IFS.ai, and Cloud Services.
Lead AuthN and AuthZ platforms with two engineering managers to ensure reliability.
Balance security, scale, and compliance with a fast, user-friendly experience.
Drive AI-assisted engineering practices to lift team productivity and quality.
Own hiring, performance management, and career development for the IAM organization.
Oversee IAM budget, vendor relationships, and cost efficiency.
