Job summary

Hydropulse, a subsidiary of ITM Power, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for Hydrogen in Sheffield. You’ll lead catalytic customer projects, develop commercial strategies and coordinate funding with internal and external partners.

You will build strong relationships with industry and policy stakeholders and drive growth in the UK and international markets, delivering viable hydrogen solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics, engineering or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years in energy, industrial gases or hydrogen sector.
• Proven track record in developing and managing complex industrial projects.
• Proven success in business development, sales and negotiations.
• HAR experience with a proven track record.
• Driver’s licence required for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects from conception to operation, with economic modelling and proposals.
• Develop high-quality sales opportunities and lead discussions on project requirements.
• Build economic models, business cases and customer-oriented proposals.
• Maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
• Lead funding programmes and coordinate stakeholders to secure funding.
• Negotiate long-term hydrogen supply contracts and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Strategy, Finance, Legal and Aftersales teams.
• Represent Hydropulse at conferences and hydrogen associations.
