Datacareers is recruiting an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a public sector technology environment. The role is hybrid, home based with 2-3 days onsite per month in Southampton, and offers a salary up to £52,000 plus on-call benefits.

You will manage Azure tenants, subscriptions, resource groups and cloud resources, and drive governance, automation and secure cloud delivery across the Microsoft stack.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience managing Azure tenants, subscriptions and resources.
• Knowledge of Azure IaaS: VMs, networking, storage and DNS.
• Understanding of Entra ID / hybrid identity concepts.
• Ability to script with PowerShell and maintain automation.

Responsabilités

• Manage and support Azure tenants, subscriptions and resources.
• Configure and improve Azure infrastructure services (VMs, storage, networking, load balancing).
• Support governance, access control, security and cost management.
• Design, implement and support secure, scalable Azure cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain Runbooks and PowerShell scripts for operations.
• Mentor other engineers and provide technical guidance.
