Syngenta’s Huddersfield Manufacturing Centre seeks an HV Technician to oversee the safe operation of a complex 33 kV/11 kV/3.3 kV/415 V electrical network. You will act as a Senior Authorized Person, manage switching, and support continuity of production at a Top Tier COMAH site.

The role demands hands-on maintenance, fault-finding and strong safety discipline, with collaboration across operations and external contractors. Training is provided where needed.

Formación

• HV distribution systems experience with protection maintenance or LV maintenance with HV potential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety, safe isolation and arc-flash controls.
• Experience with planned and preventative maintenance systems and accurate technical reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Senior Authorised Person and manage switching programmes.
• Maintain, test and fault-find HV/LV distribution systems and equipment.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance to meet safety and compliance requirements.
• Issue safety documentation and maintain audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with operations, asset teams and contractors to ensure continuity of supply.
