OCU Group in Reading seeks an experienced Senior Authorised Person to lead high-voltage switching operations and oversee safe operation of HV electrical systems on major infrastructure projects.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor Authorised Persons and operational teams, and ensure compliance with safety rules, switching procedures, and regulatory standards across complex live networks.

Qualifications

• Senior AP status within utility, DNO, ICP, IDNO, or transmission environment.
• Extensive experience operating and maintaining HV electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and switching procedures.

Responsabilités

• Lead high-voltage switching operations following safety rules.
• Plan and coordinate network access, outages, and switching programmes.
• Authorise and oversee work on HV systems ensuring compliance with regulations.
