Job summary

Aureos Group is recruiting a Senior Authorised Person to oversee LV and HV/EHV switching, isolation, earthing, and safety documentation on construction and asset replacement projects within the region. You will manage switching schedules, methods of work, and the overall electrical operations on HV/LV networks up to 132kV.

The role requires mentoring SAP trainees, supervising Jointer and Fitter teams, and delivering strong safety governance, RAMS, and toolbox talks.

Qualifications

Must hold a current DNO or equivalent Certificate of Authorisation.
Experience as SAP operating LV and HV/EHV switching and isolation.
Site-based role with travel across the region; weekend/on-call availability may be required.
Ability to lead a team of Jointer and Fitter and mentor trainees.

Responsibilities

Plan outages, switching programmes, and liaise with System/Local Control.
Make dead, isolate, and earth HV/LV networks; carry out HV testing and fault location.
Issue Safety Documents, Permits to Work, and SFT.
Lead safety culture, develop RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
Provide project management for smaller projects, including client liaison and financial management.
