Job summary

Sustainable Talent LTD in Scotland seeks a Senior/Lead Project Manager to deliver HV substation projects from 132kV to 400kV, including cabling and switchgear. This is a genuine build with Q1 2027 work secured, offering early senior delivery influence as the Scottish operation grows.

The role combines technical delivery with commercial ownership and team leadership, based in central Scotland and aligned with the 2027 programme.

Qualifications

• Strong HV project management experience at 132kV and above.
• Commercial capability: cost control, variations, cash flow.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and approve release into construction.
• Familiarity with the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS).
• Experience managing site managers and subcontractors.
• Based in, or willing to be based in, central Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HV substations and cabling projects from conception through commissioning.
• Maintain commercial performance, monitor costs and variations.
• Review and approve technical drawings for construction release.
• Procure plant/equipment and coordinate external suppliers.
• Lead and develop the site management team and report progress weekly.
• Coordinate with BIM, design, fabrication, and project control.
