Job summary

Morson Group is recruiting an experienced HSEQ Manager to support the delivery of major water sector capital projects in the North West. Based from Worsley with regular travel across the region, this senior role provides technical leadership across pre-construction through to handover.

You will guide CDM compliance, review Construction Phase Plans and project HSEQ documentation, and lead audits to drive continuous safety improvements across MEICA installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent H&S qualification.
• TechIOSH / GradIOSH, ideally working towards Chartered status.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Temporary Works, Confined Space Management, Environmental Management, Internal Auditing or Incident Investigation qualifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical HSEQ and CDM guidance across capital delivery projects.
• Ensure CDM 2015 compliance, including Principal Contractor responsibilities.
• Review Construction Phase Plans and project HSEQ documentation.
• Provide assurance across high-risk construction activities including Temporary Works and lifting operations.
• Support safe delivery of MEICA installation, commissioning, isolation and decommissioning activities.
• Lead HSEQ audits, assurance activities and improvement plans.
• Lead and support investigations into high-potential or serious incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Work closely with operational teams and contractors to drive safe behaviours and improve HSEQ performance.
