Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Warrington to lead a portfolio of complex infrastructure projects within a hybrid working arrangement. You will oversee Project Managers, drive delivery from inception to completion, and ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role focuses on regulated utilities projects, with strong emphasis on governance, change control and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
• Experience on UK regulated utilities programmes, water or wastewater assets.
• Strong leadership with a track record of managing project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness with ability to manage budgets.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Understanding of HSEQ governance and project compliance.
• SMSTS and PRINCE2/APMP or equivalent project management qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• HNC/HND or degree in engineering/construction advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers.
• Deliver multiple projects across a varied portfolio.
• Monitor programme performance, budgets, risks and controls.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners.
• Manage commercial inputs, change control and contractor performance.
• Ensure robust governance, quality assurance and HSEQ compliance.
• Build relationships with clients, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Attend leadership meetings and provide technical/commercial direction.
• Support commercial close-out and final accounts.
