Job summary

TGRC is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for UK utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects. You will lead HSE activities across the full project lifecycle, ensure compliance with UK legislation, promote a proactive safety culture, and collaborate closely with the HSE Country Manager, Project Directors and construction teams.

Based in the UK with regular travel to sites, you will develop RAMS and Construction Phase Plans, conduct audits and investigations, drive continuous

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential).
• 5–7+ years' HSE experience on large EPC construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practice.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Excellent risk assessment and contractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE activities across multiple Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Provide HSE support throughout pre-construction, construction and operations.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance monitoring.
• Develop, review RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure contractor compliance with HSE standards and UK law.
• Liaise with clients, project teams and regulators on HSE matters.
• Promote safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
