Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor for a regulated COMAH site in Bradford, West Yorkshire. You will provide practical HSE guidance to managers and operate at site level to improve safety and environmental performance.

You will lead audits, risk assessments and incident investigations, supporting COMAH compliance and emergency readiness. The role requires strong knowledge of HSE legislation and robust auditing skills, with several years on a COMAH site.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
• Several years' experience in a safety role within a COMAH site.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or a similarly regulated process environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, auditing and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HSE advice and guidance to managers and operational teams.
• Lead audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Support risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Identify trends and recommend improvements to site performance.
• Contribute to process safety studies, including HAZOP, HAZID and LOPA.
• Manage contractor safety requirements, inductions and site audits.
• Deliver training and promote positive safety behaviours.
• Support COMAH compliance, environmental permitting and emergency preparedness.
