Job summary

E3recruitment is recruiting a Senior HSE Advisor for a COMAH site in the Wyke area of West Yorkshire. The role focuses on strengthening Health, Safety and Environmental performance through audits, risk assessments and incident investigations on site.

You will advise managers and teams, lead compliance reviews, and support management of change while fostering a proactive HSE culture. The position is on-site, with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a safety role on a COMAH site.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, auditing and risk management.
• Experience with process safety studies such as HAZOP, HAZID or LOPA.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and operational teams.
• Lead audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Support risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Analyse incident trends and recommend Health, Safety and Environmental improvements.
• Support HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA and Management of Change activities.
• Manage contractor requirements, inductions and site audits.
• Deliver Health, Safety and Environmental training and support behavioural safety initiatives.
• Assist with COMAH, environmental permitting and statutory compliance.
• Support emergency preparedness and maintain relationships with relevant authorities.
