Job summary

Winsearch seeks an experienced HSE Manager in the Manchester/Wigan area to ensure compliance with government and legal regulations, enforcing health, safety and environmental policies. The role leads risk assessments, COSHH, and COMAH-site activities, promoting a culture of safety across the site.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject, NEBOSH Level 3 and IOSH Managing Safely, with extensive experience in 45001/14001, audits and emergency response planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject is required.
• NEBOSH Level 3 certificate is required.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification is preferred.
• Experience with COMAH sites and development of HSE policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement ISO 45001 & 14001 systems.
• Lead risk assessments and incident investigations with RCA.
• Coordinate HSE training and audits across the site.
• Maintain COSHH assessments and environmental permits.
• Lead emergency drills and liaison with authorities.
