Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer. The role focuses on planning, mobilising projects and suppliers for safe execution, and developing risk assessments and method statements.

You will support safety culture offshore through presence on vessels and turbines, investigate incidents, drive standardisation, and contribute to UK emergency response standards and HAZID sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience running small projects in a complex corporate environment.
• Experience offshore (O&G and wind) with willingness to travel within the UK.
• Full GWO including Enhanced First Aid for offshore wind and OGUK medical certificate including Chester step.
• Technical background with HSE risk management competencies and familiarity with bowties, barrier management and assurance activities.
• Experience facilitating HAZIDs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and mobilize projects and suppliers for safe execution, including developing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Support safety culture offshore through presence on vessels and turbines, inspections, and emergency drills/exercises.
• Investigate incidents and manage registrations in the incident management system to enable learning across the business.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation and drive procedural/design improvements and related improvement projects.
• Develop and implement UK emergency response performance standards and facilitate HAZID sessions.
