Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Senior HV Authorised Person for a major offshore wind project, based in the UK. The role focuses on HV system integration, safety compliance, and site supervision across onshore and offshore assets, including WTG and substations.

Applicants should have extensive high voltage operation and commissioning experience, with appropriate electrical qualifications and GWO HUET credentials. Rotation will be project-aligned, with offshore/offshore exposure anticipated.

Qualifications

• Several years of operation and commissioning experience within high voltage electricity, offshore experience preferred.
• Appropriate electrical qualification and background related to the authorization scope.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience within onshore substations systems.
• Complete and up-to-date GWO courses and HUET with CA-EBS if required by site (climbing gear, weight limit 120kg).
• Language requirements: Polish & English speaking.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for HV system integration, operational supervision and electrical safety rules (HV/MV/LV).
• Review RAMS and Method Statements.
• Act as HV Authorised Persons.
• Delegation of tasks to Operators on sites for safe commissioning of grid connections and substations.
• Coordinate MV/HV/LV commissioning activities through project stages.
• Oversee safe commissioning of grid connections and HV network integrity.
