Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is seeking an OSP Structural Engineer for a major offshore wind project in the UK. You will prepare technical documents, employer's requirements and technical specifications, and manage offshore platform and nesting structure design studies through early design to detailed design, ensuring HSSE and quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation and time management for coordinating stakeholders.
• Motivated self-starter able to deliver in a multidisciplinary team.
• Chartered or working towards chartered status is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documents and papers for internal review.
• Prepare employer's requirements and technical specifications.
• Manage offshore platform and nesting structure design studies, ensuring HSSE and quality requirements.
• Support the project during Detailed Design and Construction phases.
• Coordinate integration of inputs from foundations and advisors to optimize structural solutions.
• Support interfaces with other disciplines, packages, contractors and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues and opportunities affecting the scope.
• Liaise with JV shareholders to apply best practices and lessons learned.
• Perform technical evaluation of proposals and suppliers during tender processes.
