Taylor Hopkinson Limited is seeking an WTG Electrical Engineer for a major offshore wind farm project in Scotland. The role focuses on electrical scope development, offshore turbine and foundation contracts, and leading design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The candidate will work on HV and LV systems, interfacing with regulatory authorities, contractors, and suppliers to align design, testing, and installation with project milestones and environmental commitments.

Qualificações

• Experience with offshore wind electrical design and approvals.
• Knowledge of HV (converters, transformers, switchgear) and LV systems.
• Understanding of substation layouts and primary equipment for offshore projects.
• Familiarity with permitting, environmental regulation and consenting processes.
• Ability to interface with authorities, stakeholders and contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage contracts and interfaces.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare electrical scope of works and client requirements for offshore turbine and foundation contracts.
• Lead wind turbine electrical design reviews and approvals.
• Perform front end engineering design for turbine foundation electrical systems.
• Manage electrical interfaces between turbine and foundation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure design, manufacturing and installation meet standards.
• Develop and maintain permitting strategies and delivery plans.
• Identify permitting and environmental risks and communicate impacts to schedule and budgets.
