Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is recruiting a Senior HR Officer for a housing association at their Wirral head office. The role is based in Birkenhead with 35 hours per week and a salary of £41,500 per annum. It is a permanent, full-time position requiring strong HR experience.

You will join a small HR team to handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across the business.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5+ qualification or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a busy HR department.
• Strong knowledge of employment law.
• Desirable: safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Housing qualifications at level 4/5.

Responsibilities

• Reporting into the Head Of Human Resources and supporting all HR functions.
• Maintaining HR systems and ensuring accurate HR information production.
• Advising line managers on the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Managing welfare, employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance and absence management to a high standard.

Job Title: Senior HR Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Officer to join a well known housing association at their head office in the Wirral area on a permanent, full time basis.

Working in a HR team that consists of four people, you will be expected to support with all senior HR duties that include: recruitment and onboarding, employment relations, training alongside policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Reporting into the Head Of Human Resources and support with all HR functions and responsibilities.
• Hold responsibility for the maintenance of HR systems.
• Ensure there is an accurate and timely production of all HR information.
• Offer advice and guidance to line managers in the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure welfare, employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance management and absence management are all managed to a quality and consistent standard throughout the business.

Requirements:

• Hold a CIPD Level 5 or above qualification or be qualified by experience.
• 3-5 years experience working in a busy HR department.
• Knowledge of employment law.
• It would also be desirable for the right candidate to have an understanding of Safeguarding and Health & Safety alongside a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Housing.
