Job Description: HR Project Manager

Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical/life sciences company, is embarking on a major HR transformation program. This includes deploying a new service delivery model utilizing technology enablers such as ServiceNow and SAP SuccessFactors. The HR Project Manager will be an integral part of the HR transformation team, responsible for driving the delivery and transition of core HR processes.

The role involves ensuring the program is planned and executed effectively to deliver business value. The Project Manager will work in partnership with the COE, HR Solution Managers, IT Centre of Excellence, and external partners. Responsibilities include project initiation, business case development, financial management, planning, dependency management, stakeholder management, quality assurance, risk and issue management, and reporting.

Scope of Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Management: Manage the delivery of scope and outcomes within time, scope, and budget, aligned with business priorities.
2. Planning: Own and manage detailed workstream plans with clear deliverables and stage gates.
3. Integration: Ensure workstream plans are integrated across design, build, test, change, and transition phases.
4. Governance: Coordinate workstream governance, report on status, and manage RAID logs.
5. Release Planning: Coordinate iterative release planning with the central PMO.

Delivery and Execution:

1. Champion best practices in project management, advocating for latest standards and processes.
2. Identify opportunities for sharing resources and methods across projects to promote learning.
3. Establish and manage risk and issue processes and standards.
4. Guide project teams to ensure successful delivery.
5. Produce reports on project progress for leadership and steering committees.

People, Change, and Stakeholder Management:

1. Define clear roles within the project.
2. Promote strong leadership and transparent stakeholder engagement.
3. Lead, motivate, and coach teams to high performance.
4. Deliver effective executive communication.
5. Empower and inspire teams, holding them accountable for their delivery.
