Job summary

Robert Walters is seeking an HR Adviser/HR Business Partner to provide high‑quality HR guidance across the full employee lifecycle. You will coach stakeholders through restructures, workforce planning and employee relations cases while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.

The role requires strong advisory skills, stakeholder management, and experience in recruitment support and year-end processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Adviser or HR Business Partner.
• Experience in employee relations, disciplinary, performance management, and absence cases.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders and provide sound judgement.
• Practical experience supporting recruitment and broader workforce requirements.
• Experience with year-end compensation, benefits, performance and promotions processes.
• Strong communication, presentation and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation; CIPD qualification and financial services experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
• Coach and support stakeholders through organisational matters, including restructures and workforce planning.
• Ensure HR activities align with policies, governance, and UK law.
• Support year-end processes, including evaluations, promotions and compensation reviews.
• Analyse people data and workforce metrics to identify trends and risks.
• Build relationships with HR colleagues across EMEA and globally.
• Collaborate with Talent Management, Benefits, Employment Legal, and other teams to deliver HR services.
• Maintain current knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.
