Job summary

Frazer Jones is seeking a People Advisor for a global professional services business to provide broad HR guidance to a client group of about 200 employees. You will work closely with an HR Business Partner and deliver day-to-day HR advisory across the employee lifecycle.

This varied role involves employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management and process improvements, while balancing operational delivery with a commercial, people‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience at People Advisor/HR Advisor level or comparable generalist HR position.
• Experience in a professional services environment is essential (real estate/property, consultancy, legal or accountancy).
• Hands-on experience managing employee relations cases, including performance issues and exits.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers across your client group to provide pragmatic day-to-day HR advice.
• Support junior to mid-level employee relations matters, including performance improvement plans and exits.
• Assist with performance management, talent development and processes.
• Provide guidance on family leave, wellbeing, sickness absence and return-to-work procedures.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes with specialist HR teams.
• Contribute to broader People projects and process improvements.
• Leverage HR data and reporting to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with the HR Business Partner and report into them for your stakeholder population.

We are currently recruiting for a People Advisor for a global professional services business, suited to someone who enjoys a genuinely broad, generalist HR role and wants to work closely with senior stakeholders and an experienced HR Business Partner.

This is a varied position where you’ll support a stakeholder population of approximately 200 employees, providing day-to-day HR advice while getting involved across the wider employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with managers and stakeholders across your client group, providing pragmatic day-to-day HR advice and support.
• Manage junior to mid-level employee relations matters, including performance improvement plans, performance action plans, exits, absence and other employee matters.
• Support performance management, talent and development processes.
• Provide guidance around family leave, wellbeing, sickness absence and return-to-work processes.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes alongside specialist HR teams.
• Contribute to wider People projects, initiatives and process improvements.
• Use HR data and reporting to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
• Work closely with and report into an HR Business Partner, providing support across their designated stakeholder population.

What we’re looking for:

• At least two years’ experience operating at People Advisor/HR Advisor level, or within a comparable generalist HR position.
• Previous experience within a professional services environment is essential, ideally within sectors such as real estate/property, consultancy, legal or accountancy.
• Hands-on experience supporting and managing employee relations cases, particularly performance-related matters and exits.
• Confidence working directly with stakeholders and managers across different levels of seniority.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge with the ability to balance operational delivery with a commercial, people-focused approach.
• A proactive, organised and relationship-driven style, with the confidence to work independently while partnering closely with the wider People team
