Job summary

Civil Works Alliance is seeking an experienced HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor to support the HR Business Partner in driving organisational effectiveness across the Sizewell C programme. You will help shape the people strategy for head office and support functions, and contribute to building scalable structures and clear career pathways for a major infrastructure project.

Ideal candidates will have CIPD Level 5 or above and experience in large-scale programmes, with strong HR operations skills,

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or above or substantial equivalent experience.
• Experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes.
• Exposure to construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted Senior HR Advisor supporting HRBP with organisational effectiveness and performance.
• Support people strategy and long-term goals for head office and support functions.
• Contribute to a once-in-a-generation project with HR solutions.
• Provide HR guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Design scalable team structures and clear career pathways aligned with programme delivery.
• Support annual workforce planning with a rolling three-year plan.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, payroll, HRIS updates and compliance.
• Develop and execute people strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Use HR data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with functions on talent acquisition and succession planning.
• Ensure high-quality, efficient HR service.
