Job summary

D Young & Co LLP is seeking a senior HR professional to deliver a first-class HR service with a focus on employment law and employee relations. You will act as an internal specialist, review and draft HR policies, lead complex ER cases, and manage onboarding and probation processes.

In collaboration with the HR Manager and EDI partners, you will design and deliver training, support wellbeing initiatives, and ensure timely progression of HR matters while maintaining accurate records and driving

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
• Proven experience as Senior HR Advisor or ER Specialist
• Experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice HR
• Ability to interpret legislation and draft policies, presentations and guidance

Responsibilities

• Provide internal HR advisory on employment law and policies
• Review, update and draft HR policies
• Lead ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and sickness absence
• Lead onboarding and probation processes
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely progression of ER matters
• Advise on wellbeing and employee relations matters
• Lead leaver processes including exit interviews
• Support trainee qualification lifecycle
• Design and deliver training
• Collaborate with HR Manager and EDI partner on events and initiatives
• Support Mental Health First Aider service
