Job summary

LM RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS LTD is recruiting a Senior HR Advisor for schools and education settings in Herefordshire. The role blends office presence with occasional remote working, supporting schools across the area with complex HR casework and policy advice.

You will work with headteachers and senior leaders, lead investigations, and help implement education-specific frameworks with a visible, pragmatic approach.

Qualifications

• Significant end-to-end HR casework experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and practical application.
• Confidently advise senior stakeholders in high-pressure situations.
• Experience in unionised environments and handling consultations.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent with ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex HR casework including disciplinaries, grievances and TUPE.
• Advise headteachers, governors and senior leaders on HR matters on site.
• Act as investigating officer with reports and recommendations.
• Advise on education-specific terms, policies and frameworks.
• Lead policy development and review for schools; support change and consultation.
