Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our small administrative team on an ongoing temporary basis. The role runs 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with a hybrid model: office-based on Mon, Wed, Fri and home-based Tue/Thu, supporting academies across South London.

The ideal candidate will have HR Officer experience, CIPD Level 5 preferred, excellent communication, and strong organisational skills to manage onboarding, payroll updates and policy guidance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working at HR Officer level.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; mail merges and templates.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willing to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK; 2 recent references.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for HR queries with policy guidance.
• Manage onboarding including DBS, eligibility checks and health checks.
• Keep HR and SIMS/Select HR systems up to date with hires and changes.
• Support annual salary review process and issue letters.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies and provide guidance to staff.
• Update documentation and training records.
