Job summary

The Beauty Tech Group is seeking a Senior HR Advisor for a 12‑month maternity cover. You will provide practical HR guidance to managers, lead on complex employee relations, and oversee HR operations including onboarding, documentation and reporting.

You’ll also supervise the HR Assistant and help drive compliance with legislation. Reporting to the CFO/COO, this role supports a fast-growing team across the UK with hybrid work options and a focus on accurate record-keeping, policy application and

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Senior HR Advisor role with UK employment law knowledge.
• Experience handling grievances, disciplinaries, capability and absence.
• Confident advising managers on sensitive matters with sound judgement.
• Nice to have CIPD qualification; experience with external employment-law advisers.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice to managers and employees.
• Lead on complex employee relations matters and ensure fair handling of cases.
• Support investigations and prepare documentation, escalating high-risk cases.
• Oversee onboarding, absence management and HR documentation.
• Supervise and develop the HR Assistant and act as first escalation point.
