An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR professional to join our very busy Employee Relations team. You will need substantial experience of operational Human Resources, a passion to make a difference for our NHS workforce, patients and service users, and a drive to deliver. You will be working closely with Trust wide leaders and operational colleagues, to deliver effective people management in line with our values &

behaviours.

Main duties of the job

Working in line with the HR Business Partner model, you will be required to act autonomously and with limited supervision to provide professional & expert HR advice and coaching on a range of issues involving increasing levels of complexity, including attendance management, disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, staff performance and organisational change.

In addition, you will support colleagues in the delivery of our wider portfolio - which includes diversity & inclusion, recruitment, workforce planning & transformation, our Just Culture approach and projects that reach right across the health system. You will also work closely with the HR Business Partners on defined workforce-related projects that support delivery of the NHS People Plan.

To support and develop an effective ER advisory service to Divisions across the range of employees relations matters such as discipline, grievance, conduct, capability, job design and evaluation, organisational change and absence management. Ensuring at all

times professional, expert and technical guidance and support in line with policies and procedures.

Effectively manage employee relations case load from initial query through to resolution/outcome.
