Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR matters.

• Assist with learning and development programmes and people-focused projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and ways of working.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Produce HR reports and support workforce planning.
• Collaborate with colleagues across international locations.
• Support wider HR team with administrative requirements.

Our client is a successful international professional services organisation with a people-first culture and a workforce spanning multiple countries. Following a period of growth and organisational change, they are looking to strengthen their HR team with an individual who is eager to contribute ideas, embrace new technology, and support continuous improvement across the people function. This is a permanent role based in Berkhamsted, with 3 days a week on site. We are also able to consider candidates looking for 4 days per week.

Description

The HR Advisor will support the delivery of a broad generalist HR service across a global employee population, partnering with managers and stakeholders to ensure an excellent employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Providing advice and guidance to managers on a range of HR matters.
• Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
• Managing employee relations cases, including performance management, absence management, probation reviews and family-friendly policies.
• Supporting recruitment activities and talent acquisition initiatives.
• Assisting with learning and development programmes and people-focused projects.
• Identifying opportunities to improve HR systems, processes, and ways of working.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Producing HR reports and supporting workforce planning activities.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple international locations.
• Supporting the wider HR team with administrative and operational requirements where needed.
