Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils is seeking a Senior Enforcement Officer to lead the Housing Standards team, driving enforcement activity and quality control within the council’s management structure.

The role involves line management of team members, representing the council in local and county groups, and shaping the team's processes and directions in response to new legislation.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification / extensive experience in Housing Standards / Regulatory Services or a similar area.

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality and output of housing standards enforcement activities.
• Act as a Senior Enforcement Officer with direct line management responsibility for team members.
• Represent the Council at local and county-wide groups and contribute to the wider management team.
