Qualifications

• Experience in Housing Options/ Homelessness services and relevant legislation.
• Ability to analyse, interpret and apply homelessness case law.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of a responsive, customer-focused Housing Options and Homelessness Service.
• Ensure statutory responsibilities are met and that applications are evaluated professionally with consistent approaches.
• Provide guidance to Housing Options Officers on complex or sensitive cases.
• Monitor and manage performance of Housing Options Officers and triage staff.
• Assist in developing monitoring and referral arrangements with statutory agencies, housing providers and the voluntary sector.
