SourceFlow in Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Housing Advice & Options Manager to lead a large, frontline homelessness and housing advice service. This senior role focuses on strategic leadership, performance improvement and strong operational management within a statutory housing environment.

The role requires delivering outcomes against demanding targets, managing a team of around 35 staff, and working with partners and elected members to drive prevention and service change.

Formación

• Extensive experience managing a Housing Advice & Homelessness Prevention Service.
• Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing advice, prevention and relief duties.
• Experience managing managers, team leaders, and frontline staff.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and improve performance of large operational teams.
• Experience managing substantial service budgets.
• Strong understanding of service performance frameworks, KPIs and performance management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a service of approximately 35 staff across housing advice, homelessness prevention and housing options functions.
• Support Team Leaders and Managers to improve service delivery and performance outcomes.
• Drive a prevention-focused culture, ensuring homelessness is prevented wherever possible.
• Review current operational processes and implement improvements where required.
• Manage service performance against statutory obligations and local targets.
• Provide leadership during a busy period, ensuring service stability while driving improvement.
