Bromsgrove District Council is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Research and Intelligence Officer to support 5 local housing authorities across Worcestershire. You will develop, analyse, manage and report on housing and homelessness data to support strategic objectives.

You will work with partners and stakeholders, reporting to the Senior Strategy Housing Officer, leading on research projects, and ensuring timely delivery.

Competenze

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject.
• Experience managing projects and working with partner agencies.
• Experience in a political environment with elected members and public sector funding awareness.
• Ability to lead research and intelligence projects across teams and organisations.

• Lead ad hoc research and project management to deliver policy actions.
• Collaborate with partners to develop homelessness and housing research.
• Support development of housing strategies and associated actions.
• Research supply/demand issues across all housing tenures and client groups.
• Ensure data collection and monitoring of internal and external housing performance information.
• Assess new legislation and guidance and their impact on council activities.
• Assist in funding bid preparations for affordable housing and community projects.
• Support Senior Housing Strategy Officer in monitoring providers.
