Bromsgrove District Council is seeking a full-time Worcestershire Housing and Homelessness Research and Intelligence Officer to support 5 local authorities across Worcestershire. The role involves developing, analyzing, and reporting on housing data to support strategic objectives under a 3-year fixed-term contract.

You will lead research projects, work with partners, and ensure stakeholder views inform delivery. Degree-qualified with project management experience is essential.

Competenze

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject.
• Experience managing projects and working with partner agencies to achieve objectives.
• Experience in a political environment with direct contact to elected members and knowledge of public sector funding.

• Lead on ad hoc research and project management to support policy implementation and data collation for government returns.
• Collaborate with partners and agencies to address homelessness and housing research projects.
• Support development of key housing strategies and deliver actions and projects.
• Research and analyse supply/demand across housing tenures and client groups.
• Ensure systems collect and monitor internal and external housing performance information.
• Research new legislation and guidance from central government and assess impact on council activities.
• Assist in preparing funding bids for affordable housing and related projects.
• Support Senior Housing Strategy Officer in monitoring providers’ performance.
