Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department across multiple sites in Manchester. You will drive daily operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction while managing budgets and staff performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in a senior housekeeping capacity, strong leadership, COSHH awareness, and a track record of KPI achievement in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a Deputy Housekeeping management or similar role.
• Experience managing large, diverse teams to high standards.
• Strong Health & Safety compliance experience with COSHH knowledge.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage budgets effectively.
• Experience in hospitality sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and optimize daily housekeeping operations to meet contract standards.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, safety and security across all areas.
• Control stock, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory in line with forecasted needs.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and staff development for the housekeeping team.
• Coach staff and collaborate with clients and hotel management to ensure service excellence.
