Job summary

HotelCare is seeking a Head Housekeeper to oversee daily operations of the housekeeping team in a Manchester hotel. You will lead by example, ensure hygiene and safety standards, and maintain professional relationships with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a Deputy/Head Housekeeping management role.
• Experience managing a large diverse team and achieving KPIs.
• Strong health and safety compliance experience, COSHH knowledge.
• Commercial awareness including budgets, stock control and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and direct the housekeeping team to achieve service levels.
• Ensure hygiene, safety and COSHH compliance across all areas.
• Manage budgets, stock, and inventory for linen and supplies.
• Coach staff, conduct performance reviews and support recruitment.
• Maintain strong client and hotel management relationships.
