Job summary

Moxy Belfast City is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to co-lead the hotel with the General Manager. You will oversee Front Office, Food & Beverage, Accommodation and Nights, ensuring top-tier guest experience and commercial performance.

With 2–3 years in a senior hospitality role and a relevant degree (Master’s preferred), you’ll drive revenue, maintain standards, and mentor a leadership team across 24/7 operations in Belfast city.

Qualifications

• Senior hotel management experience is essential.
• 2-3 years in a senior hospitality role (Deputy General Manager/Operations Manager/Hotel Manager).
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly regarded.
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to prioritise under pressure and deliver through others.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, forecasting and cost control.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
• Interest in sustainability across environment, product, people or community.
• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 hotel operation.
• Experience with Moxy/Marriott/lifestyle or select-service hotels is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel operation and drive performance across departments.
• Maximise sales opportunities throughout the property.
• Maintain high standards and hold Department Managers accountable.
• Prioritise competing demands and delegate effectively.
• Balance live operation with longer-term priorities.
• Champion the Moxy guest experience and brand values.
• Resolve guest concerns and turn feedback into action.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cost control and commercial performance with GM and Finance.
• Lead, coach and develop the management team.
• Ensure safety, licensing, GDPR and operational standards are maintained.
