Marriott London Heathrow is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Manager in running the Engineering and Maintenance Department at the London Heathrow hotel. This role combines supervisory duties with hands-on technical support across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems to ensure safety, compliance and operational efficiency.

• Experience in hotel engineering or facilities management.
• Desirable: supervision or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of plant and equipment including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programmes.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the engineering team to ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained hotel operations.
• Assist in delivering preventative maintenance programmes and schedule tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, plant rooms and back-of-house spaces.
• Manage contractors and external suppliers attending the property.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs and compliance documentation.
• Support capital expenditure projects and refurbishment works as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies and communicate updates.
